I have always been a creative person working principally with pots, I have felt an affinity with clay from an early age. Clay is a uniquely tactile and malleable material and my lifelong fascination with it lies primarily in its versatile properties and its universal functions.
A busy Mum of two boys, I have over the years acquired a multitude of diverse and
un- used artistic skills, gaining recognition internationally as an accomplished
Potter Ceramic Artist and Sculptor.
I am also a Qualified Teacher, Web Designer, Flash
Artist as well as a cook, dishwasher, taxi driver ...the list goes on... I have also
a keen interest in Cad Design. I am now level 3 CAD qualified on 3D solid modelling.
I love it - especially Cinema 4D. But, my passion for working in clay will never
leave me.
I am probably most noted for my highly collectable pie funnels which are original exclusive handmade designs produced by 'The ‘prima-donna of piebirds 'as described by The Times for collectors worldwide, whether it be the traditional bell shape or an exclusive original design available no-where else in the world except direct from the maker. Displayed in your home Donnaware Pie birds will be a true "conversation piece" and as gifts they will become treasures and will continually increase in value!
The perfect gift for that "someone who has everything’ - friend or relative"A truly sound investment. Order yours now
I also produce a variety of unique pottery figurines and collectables, both functional and decorative, serving customers both here in the UK and abroad, mainly USA and Canada, and as far away as Japan. My hand made ceramics have been featured in many publications and magazines such as 'Collect It', 'Art and Antiques', 'The Journal', ‘Piebirds Unlimited’ and more recently The Bonsai Potters Book printed in 6 different languages.
