Belvior Castle Sculpture Symposium. Over the 2 week stay I created ‘Luciana’ - Lady of the Light. a life size statue in direct concrete.

Lincolnshire Show 2010

I made this piece as a centre piece for my stand, I got lots of positive comments and some even thought it was chocolate and wanted to eat it! Of course it was clay in its raw state, I kept it moist throughout the show but it was far too big to go in my small kiln so I just put it back in the clay bin. - it was good practice anyway. I hasten to add I now have a larger kiln!
